MOBILE CONNECTIONS
Like our brick-and-mortar Resource Center, Mobile Connections—launched in May 2021—is designed to address the immediate and ongoing needs of children in foster care. This inaugural initiative is made possible through an Innovation Grant from the Tulsa Area United Way.
Mobile Connections visits rural counties, including: Kay, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee and Washington counties. Currently approximately 2,681 children in foster care in these areas do not have access to free items to fulfill basic needs such as: clothes, shoes, beds, car seats, strollers, hygiene products, etc.
